Privacy notice

01What we collect

• When you request a consultation: your name, email, phone, city, the address of the space (if you give it), your message and, when you book a paid consultation, the version of the terms you accepted.
• When you reserve a work: your name, email, phone and language, the work, its price and deposit, the version of the terms and of the deposit terms you accepted with their dates and, if a representative or a campaign referred you, its code.
• To deliver: the delivery address, access details, and the name and phone of whoever will receive the work.
• When you write to us: your messages and whatever you choose to tell us.
• Payments: Stripe collects your card details, or your bank account details if you pay from a US bank account (you sign in to your bank through Stripe). We never see or store your full card or account number; Stripe shares with us the payment status and limited details such as the name, the card brand or bank name, the last four digits and the billing postcode.
• Technical data: like any website, our host Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not ask for sensitive data, such as health, religion, ethnicity or precise location.

02Cookies and your device

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

If web analytics are on, they are Cloudflare's cookieless analytics: they count visits in aggregate, without cookies and without following you across other sites.

Your browser keeps a few things on your device so the site works, such as the reference of a checkout in progress. The room planner keeps your room photo and layout on your device only; they never reach us.

03Why we use it

• To answer your requests and run your consultation.
• To take your order and payments, make your work and deliver it.
• To keep you informed about your order, delivery and warranty.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as tax and accounting records.
• To keep the site and payments secure and prevent fraud.
• To send you news from VIZARRA, only if you asked for it.

04Calls, texts and emails

We call or text you only about your consultation, order or delivery, at the number you gave us for that. We do not send marketing texts without your written consent. Reply STOP to any text to stop them.

Emails about your order are part of the service. Any news email or newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address.

05Who processes it

We share your data only with those who help us serve you, and only what each of them needs:

• Stripe: payments, which VIZARRA LLC takes through its own Stripe account (see the Terms of sale).
• Resend: sends our emails.
• Cloudflare: hosts the site, stores our database and files in the United States, and protects the site.
• Our independent sales representatives and consultation agents: see the contact details of the clients they look after.
• Delivery and installation crews: receive the name, phone, address and access notes needed to deliver your work.
• Our accountants and lawyers, and authorities when the law requires it.

Our artisans in Mexico see the work they are making, never your contact details.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

06Where it is kept

Your data is stored with Cloudflare in the United States. Our studio team works from Texas and Mexico, so it may be accessed from Mexico to look after your order.

07How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as we need it:

• Orders, payments and invoices: 7 years after the sale, for tax and accounting.
• Warranty records: for as long as the warranty lasts.
• Consultation requests that do not lead to an order: 2 years after our last contact.
• Technical logs: from a few days to a few weeks, as set by Cloudflare.

After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

08Your rights

You can ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold data about you and give you a copy, in a portable format;
• correct it;
• delete it, unless we must keep it by law (for example, tax records) or to honour your warranty;
• stop using it to send you news.

We do not sell data, use it for targeted advertising or make automated decisions about you, so there is nothing there to opt out of.

Write to hello@vizarrastudio.com with the subject "Privacy". We may ask you to confirm your identity from the email address we have on file. We answer within 45 days, free of charge.

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We decide the appeal within 60 days and explain why. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Texas Attorney General.

If you live in Mexico, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in the same way.

09Security

Connections to the site are encrypted. Payments are handled by Stripe. Only the people who need client data can access it, behind passwords. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we tell you as the law requires.

10Children

The site is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and orders are for adults (18 or older) only.

11Who this notice covers

This notice covers clients and visitors. Artisans and field agents who use our private work pages receive a separate notice.

12Changes

If we change this notice, we publish the new version here with its date. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we tell you by email first.
